Ann doesn't like to shop?

Could have fooled me! Watching Ann at Total Wine is like watching a kid in a candy store! The place was absolutely enormous but Ann explained (aka lectured me) on the proper etiquette of shopping. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CART IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AISLE! Well, when I thought Ann wasn't watching, I ran to get a sample (quite a good one, I might add...spiked eggnog) when Ann, with eyes in the back of her head, whipped around and yelled, "I SAID DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CART IN THE AISLE. THAT IS SO RUDE!" Dave, I think you may remember some of Ann's intimidating lectures....Kind of like when you got yelled at over rolling your suitcase through Jeff's NICU? She can be vury scary!

Anyway, we spent much time there and harassed pretty much every employee there. I had my opportunity to yell at Ann when she tried to sabbotage my negotiation over the use of a coupon. I knew my coupon did not apply but explained why I should be eligible for its use. Instead of keeping her mouth shut, she added her "insight" into the conversation with the comment, "that applies to the 750 ml bottles; not the ones you bought." I then had to reprimand her after the employee went to seek management approval....Her response, "quit frowning at me!" Needless to say, I didn't get to use the coupon!

All in all, an exhausting yet successful day. Bill, you had me so paranoid about the "border crossing" that I went and filled my tires. My tires were definitely in need of air and I figured I'd be more conspicuous with a weighted down car with a "draggin' trunk."

Yo Billy, when do you think you'll blog under your own blog? And, who's "Paulie?" Is that Paulie Redmond? Hopefully, an authorized reader and not someone who has stumbled onto this blog!

SAVE OUR SEATS!

This is a favorite picture of Ann's and mine. Much time was spent drinking our coe-he, reading, eating and drinking our wine/beer as we contemplated the bay. We woke up to a lot of snow yesterday morning and it's freezing here. Karelyn, I can relate!

Ann and I are off to Total Wine in Delaware today. Ann says I'll be frightened by the size of the warehouse. I think she's right. Hopefully, there will be no arrests crossing "the border."

Hey, if Dave can blog so can I! It is much easier than I thought it would be. Enjoy the picture of everyone but me and Steve in Scotland. I am spending the weekend in Monterey playing golf. On may down tonight I will be having dinner at Annette's. I will be taking carnitas for dinner. Dave will understand how good dinner will be and hopefully the rest of you will visit me sometime and can enjoy them too. I will blog with pictures upon my return. BUB
